SSION’s video for “Earthquake” is on V Magazine’s Best of 2012

Posted on Jan 2, 2013

“All of Ssion’s videos are incredibly pertinent to their music, perhaps because they are all, so far, directed by the man himself (Ssion’s Cody Critcheloe). “Earthquake,” though. This video topped them, sticking to a narrative Critcheloe started over a decade ago—one that speaks of self-creation and of a campy rising stardom—while introducing a more mainstream production value. This, combined with a new-tech nod (the iPad), a morphing main man (from the outcast to the pop sensation) and holiday-themed deviants as enchanting extras, makes a video made to stream more than once.”

Check it out on V Magazine!
