Virtual Phenomatron puts Infernal Devices visuals in your hands
New York based electro-pop duo Infernal Devices have revealed their groundbreaking virtual Phenomatron, created to coincide with their new EP, A Million Miles Above. The Phenomatron is the physical centerpiece of an Infernal Devices live show. Standing a few feet high, its a large wooden box fitted with copper pipes, colored lights, and glowing wires. When the beat starts pumping, the Phenomatron springs to life, the stage awash with color and sound.
The Phenomatron web toy allows users to create a dynamic simulation of the Infernal Devices live experience from the comforts of their own home, serving as a companion to their energetic new musical release. The duo have embraced the merge of technology and music through the seamless execution of this ingenious marketing tool. Not only is the virtual Phenomatron directly connecting musician to audience, its doing so outside the constructs of the conventional music experience, having created something teeming with authenticity.
