Interview Magazine spotlights Pretty & Nice’s “Hibernate”
“Hibernate” is a song that captures quite a bit in less than three minutes—in one moment, its focus turns to a patchy guitar blasting full force, and another brings Mendicino’s cool coo to the forefront, his simple refrain, “Do you remember the sun?” chaining the track together.”
Read all about it and listen to “Hibernate” oat Interview Magazine.
The Line of Best Fit premieres Teen Mom video
Watch the video for “I Wanna Go Out” at The Line of Best Fit. Mean Tom is out 11/27 on Analog Edition!
“Universal truths spill out onto the screen in Teen Mom’s video for their reverb-cushioned take on fuzzy-lipped guitar rock. Missed opportunities at looking cool materialise in the form of adrenaline pumping guitar riffs, drowned out, distorted vocals and soothing melodies, all pleading a singular demand… “I wanna go out.” It’s a shoegazers take on beachy, garage rock at the first, best party you’ve ever been to.”

“Los Angeleno, Nima Kazerouni, is a vital part of the burgeoning pop project So Many Wizards. But much like any artist, that just isn’t enough. He was forced to create a side project in order to outlet the vast creativity that grew within. That’s where Crown Plaza comes in. It’s his solo, softer spoken, dreamy pop project born of heart ache and home recorded in his dad’s LAX office.”

Kenna unveils new single, “Long Gone”
On Wednesday, October 17th, through a long standing relationship with MTV, Kenna makes his directorial debut with his clip for the single “Long Gone”, a six-minute short film that weaves a tale of ambition, deception and the many games played to attain fame. A teaser for the video can be seen here: http://bit.ly/kennalonggone
Shot on location in Los Angeles, the black and white film noir thriller is an ode to a classic Hitchcock-ian “who done it”. The clip stars Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and up and coming actress Jessica Roffey as Lola Snow, a starlet with a dark secret.
Kenna will roll out two EPs over the course of 2012/2013: the first, Land 2 Air Chronicles II: Imitation Is Suicide, features “Long Gone.” Ten new tracks in total will be given as free downloads to fans via Kenna.com and will feature tracks produced by The Neptunes’ Chad Hugo, RJD2 and Kenna himself. Land 2 Air Chronicles III: Self-Reliance, the final EP, will be released in early 2013. The EPs, which are centered on Ralph Waldo Emerson’s “Self-Reliance” essay, will serve as the “runway” to Kenna’s third full-length album Songs For Flight. The new album is set for a late Spring/early Summer 2013 release.
