Kenna unveils new single, “Long Gone”

Posted on Oct 16, 2012

On Wednesday, October 17th, through a long standing relationship with MTV, Kenna makes his directorial debut with his clip for the single “Long Gone”, a six-minute short film that weaves a tale of ambition, deception and the many games played to attain fame. A teaser for the video can be seen here: http://bit.ly/kennalonggone

Shot on location in Los Angeles, the black and white film noir thriller is an ode to a classic Hitchcock-ian “who done it”. The clip stars Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and up and coming actress Jessica Roffey as Lola Snow, a starlet with a dark secret.

Kenna will roll out two EPs over the course of 2012/2013: the first, Land 2 Air Chronicles II: Imitation Is Suicide, features “Long Gone.” Ten new tracks in total will be given as free downloads to fans via Kenna.com and will feature tracks produced by The Neptunes’ Chad HugoRJD2 and Kenna himself. Land 2 Air Chronicles III: Self-Reliance, the final EP, will be released in early 2013. The EPs, which are centered on Ralph Waldo Emerson’s “Self-Reliance” essay, will serve as the “runway” to Kenna’s third full-length album Songs For Flight. The new album is set for a late Spring/early Summer 2013 release.
